Buyer Profile has been added to the Gwent Police website in accordance with the recommendation of the European Commission in the Consolidated Procurement Directive. The purpose is to give businesses and other organisations an understanding on how the Force lets contracts for Goods and Services.

It is anticipated that this profile will contain, in due course, information on procurement plans, current and future contracts.

Contract opportunities for Goods and Services are currently advertised either via Bluelight e notice or Buy4Wales

The overall and continuing objective of the Contracts and Procurement department is to provide a comprehensive professional procurement service to the Force.
