What we've done in your area:
Priority: Bicycle thefts
A bicycle initiative is underway this summer to help prevent the theft of bikes from the Scenic Drive area. We are working with local businesses to help run this initiative and have seen a great response from the local community. We have also been working to tackle the PACT priorities that were chosen by residents for Abercarn in June. This includes working with local councillors, residents and the council to look at youth facilities and with traffic management to see if safety barriers can be introduced outside the local Spar. Extra patrols are continuing in High Street, Abercarn, to address anti-social behaviour.
