What we've done in your area:
Priority: BURGLARY

We have increased our patrols in the Maesycwmmer area, and have been highlighting both vulnerable properties and vehicles to residents that may be targeted by opportunists. Residents have been reminded to remove items of value from their vehicles, and secure garages and sheds where expensive tools or garden equipment may be stored. We also took our Be Aware campaign to one local street, where we handed out crime prevention advice and played short crime prevention films to the local residents to remind them about the importance of locking doors and windows at night and when no-one is at home.
