Your Ward Priorities are:
  • Parking issues in and around Woolpitch Wood, including vehicles parking on footpaths
  • Illegal parking in Mount Way, mainly at school arrival and departures time
  • Speeding along St Lawrence Road
  • Last Updated : Tuesday 1st June 2010
What we've done in your area:
Priority: Speeding along St Lawrence Road A466

The Speed Safety Camera Van has been in this location 25 times between February and June and the results from those visits show that 55%percnt; of vehicles using St Lawrence Road are speeding with the average speed of vehicles being 37MPH. Due to the high offending rate at this location, we are working to upgrade this site from an “Amber” Site to a “Red” site, which means that this area will be a priority for the Speed Camera Van and so the van would be situated at this location a minimum of 5 times per week.
