What we've done in your area:
Priority: Speed Monitoring on B4245 Undy
We along with officers from the Road Policing Team, have conducted several speed monitoring checks, using a 'Digital Speed Display' and 'Hand Held Speed Gun' on the B4245 Undy. During July, over 900 vehicles were checked by the 'Digital Speed Display' and the highest recorded speed was 42 MPH. The average recorded speed was 29.58 MPH. Officers from the 'Road Policing Team', using the Hand Held Speed Gun, have issued 5 speeding tickets to motorist exceeding the 30 MPH speed limit. The highest recorded speed was 52 MPH. Ruth also teamed up with these Police Officers for a mini seat belt/mobile phone operation. On the day, 5 tickets were issued to motorist for not wearing a seat belt. 6 tickets issued for tyre defects. On this occasion no tickets were issued for mobile phone offences.
