What we've done in your area:
Priority: HGV's USING USK TOWN ROUTE

We have carried out several operations to target HGV's misusing this route. These operations involved officers stopping and checking Lorries coming through the town. A number of drivers who were not delivering locally have been turned around and instructed not to use the route again. They have also been given letters and leaflets highlighting the problems and to inform them of the 'Lorry Watch' CCTV cameras on the bridge. We have also been working with the local council and have set up a problem solving group to find a long term solution to this damaging problem.
