Community Volunteers

No fitness requirement, just a health and safety risk assessment to check that your enthusiasm will not put your health at risk.

No upper age limit, provided your health is adequate for the task. Training limited to that required for the post.

So what would you be doing?

Ever wish the Police Station could be open longer? You could staff the 'enquiry desk', keeping the station open or freeing the local Police Officer to attend calls and patrol the area.

Recording lost and found property
Giving directions to visitors
Arranging attendance of Police at crime scenes
Taking telephone call
Organising Neighbourhood Watch Schemes
Provide administrative support for the Special Constabulary

In fact, the possibilities are endless!

No volunteer will ever be used to replace a paid member of staff.
