What else can you do?

  1. Attend your next Partnerships and Communities Together (PACT) meeting or police surgery and talk to your community representative, such as your neighbourhood officer or local councillor.
  2. Create a diary of what is happening and when. Record basic information including the date and time of the incident, the type of behaviour displayed, what happened and where, and how it made you feel. This will be useful information if a there is a resulting court case.
  3. Talk to your neighbours to see if they are being affected as well.
  4. Set up or join a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme – contact your local Neighbourhood Policing Team for more details.
  5. Speak to your local council’s anti-social behaviour co-ordinator to get help and advice.
  6. Speak to your local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
  7. Report the issue to your landlord or resident’s association.
  8. If you feel comfortable doing so, talk to the person causing the problem; they may not realise how it is affecting you.
  9. No matter how you report anti-social behaviour, all complaints are treated as confidential. So you don’t have to worry about your identity being revealed.
