Police in Blackwood are appealing for information on incidents of criminal damage to two buses in the Pontllanfraith area.
At approximately 5.40pm on Wednesday 7th November officers were called after a group of teenagers deliberately kicked a football at the front windscreen of a Stagecoach bus on Penllwyn Lane, Pontllanfraith.
A large crack was caused to the windscreen of the bus.
Another Stagecoach bus windscreen was cracked during a second incident at approximately 10.45pm on Bryn Road, Pontllanfraith.
Police were called after a group of teenagers deliberately kicked a football at the bus near the Bird In Hand pub.
The teenagers ran away towards a green area, away from the vicinity of the pub.
Inspector Mark Smith, of Blackwood Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "We are increasing our patrols in the area and are making enquiries to identify those responsible for these incidents.
"Throwing or kicking objects at moving vehicles is extremely dangerous and risks causing serious injury to other people.
"I would urge anyone with information on these incidents to call Gwent Police."
Please call 101 if you have any information on the two incidents, or saw anything suspicious in the area on the evening of Wednesday 7th November.
