Police Officers

Gwent Police are looking to recruit Detective Constables from all backgrounds, currently serving with other Home Office Forces, who have completed their probationary period.

We are looking to recruit qualified and experienced Detective Constables with skills and experience in managing a range of complex investigations, and/or experience of digital evidence gathering, dealing with cyber-enabled crimes, and an understanding of a range of vulnerabilities and the appropriate ways to respond.  As well as many staff benefits we provide a wide range of career opportunities, specialist posts, as well as development and promotion prospects.

Force Specialist Cyber Protect and Prepare Officer

We are looking for a Force Specialist Cyber Protect and Prepare Officer to deliver the National Protect Strategy at force level, delivering consistent, nationally approved cyber security advice to businesses and members of the public, as part of TeamCyberUK. Offer cyber security advice to victims of cyber dependant crime to reduce the risk of repeat victimisation.  Deliver cyber resilience advice and exercising to local businesses to enable them to better secure themselves in the digital age.
