Police Officers

Gwent Police are looking to recruit Detective Constables from all backgrounds, currently serving with other Home Office Forces, who have completed their probationary period.

We are looking to recruit qualified and experienced Detective Constables with skills and experience in managing a range of complex investigations, and/or experience of digital evidence gathering, dealing with cyber-enabled crimes, and an understanding of a range of vulnerabilities and the appropriate ways to respond.  As well as many staff benefits we provide a wide range of career opportunities, specialist posts, as well as development and promotion prospects.

Police Staff

The OPCC are looking for a new member of the team to assist the Policy Officers and Head of Strategy with any research and policy development relating to the work of the OPCC. In addition, the role holder will assist with the work associated with the strategic planning process, performance monitoring and partnership working responsibilities of the OPCC.
