Sentence: 3 Years In Prison
- Concerned in the supply of cocaine
Two men, whose alter egos as drug dealers was exposed after a police raid, have been jailed.
Gary Jackson, 33, of Grove Road, Risca, and Mark Walsh, 33, of Pontgam Terrace, Ynysddu, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday 13 March.
Jackson and Walsh pled guilty to the offences of being concerned in the supply of cocaine between Monday 14 October and Thursday 30 January at an earlier court appearance.
Walsh was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison, while Jackson received a term of three years in jail.
DC Sean Meyrick, the officer in the case, said: “Drugs within our communities ruin lives.
“It is not only the lives of those who take drugs that can become destroyed; it has a knock-on effect to all other aspects of the communities.
“These two are family men, who will now miss out on spending time with their loved ones.
“I hope this sentence will deter others who are considering getting themselves involved in the supply of drugs.”
Both men will be subject to a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing at a later date.
