Appeal after collision in Duffryn Way, Newport

We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Duffryn Way, Newport.

The collision between a car and a cyclist took place at the pedestrian crossing near to the Asda store in Duffryn at around 3.40pm on Tuesday, December 10.

A 12-year-old boy, who was the cyclist, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital for treatment. He sustained injuries to his leg.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dash-cam footage of the area at the time is asked to get in contact.
