Burglary at Co-op Store in Blaenavon in Pontypool

Did you see anything? We are re-appealing for information following a burglary at the Co-op Store in Blaenavon in Pontypool.

In the early hours of Friday 1st February, at around 2.10am, we received a report that a vehicle had driven into the front of the store. The offenders used a disc cutter to remove the ATM and the cash within, before driving off in the direction of Llanover Road.

The offenders, thought to be three men, left the scene in a vehicle, thought to be a white Mitsubishi Pajero.

It’s also thought the offenders were in the area outside the store approximately an hour before the burglary took place.

Officers are investigating this incident and are appealing for information in relation to the offenders and also the vehicles thought to be involved - a silver or grey Mitsubishi Pajero and a white Nissan Navaro.
