Two Caerphilly Town Centre shops targeted by criminals

Officers are appealing for information after two Caerphilly town centre shops were targeted by criminals in the last three days, both of which have happened overnight.

On Tuesday 19th February 2019, at approximately 2.00am, there was an attempted break in at Subway on Cardiff Road, Caerphilly, the alarm went off and fortunately nothing was stolen. (Log: 47 19/02/19)

On Thursday 21st February 2019, at approximately 22.30pm, Ty Hafan Charity Shop on Market Street was broken into and property was stolen. (Log: 599 21/02/19)

Officers are reminding businesses and residents in the area to remain vigilant and to always report any suspicious activity to Gwent Police.
