Warning following parking issues in Monmouth town centre...

Officers would like all residents and visitors to Monmouth town centre, to be aware of the issue of responsible parking.

 

Local Police Constable Chris Butt said: 'We are monitoring parking obstructions, in particular on Priory Street, Agincourt Square and the Town Arch.

 

We have also received complaints of inconsiderate parking and overstaying offences in town loading bays.

 

We will be checking these areas daily and obvious, deliberate offences will be dealt with robustly.

 

Please park responsibly and take into consideration the time limit placed upon parking bays.
