Officers are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which took place in Caerphilly yesterday.
We were called to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a car in Bedwas Road, shortly before 12.20pm yesterday, Tuesday 6 April.
The pedestrian, an 84-year-old man from Caerphilly, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, who has not yet spoken to officers, is asked to get in contact.
