We’re appealing for information after receiving a report of a robbery in Hartshorn Court, Caerphilly at around 10.55am on Monday 26 July.
A 36-year-old man was reportedly attacked by two people, believed to be teenage boys, close to the Morrisons supermarket near Lansbury Park and a wallet was taken from him between 7am and 10.45am.
The first person is described as white, aged around 13, short blonde hair, of slim build, clean shaven and wearing black and white t-shirt.
The second person is also white, aged around 15, short dark hair, of average build and clean shaven.
The two people were seen carrying pieces of wood, which were reportedly used to attack the victim.
Following the attack, the victim was taken back to his home address by two members of the public in a ‘scrap metal’ van.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area is asked to call Gwent Police, quoting log reference 2100262389.
