Caerphilly officers are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Trecenydd.
We received a report of an assault which took place on Saturday, January 30, between 10.30pm and 11.30pm near to The Cresent in Trecenydd.
A man reported that he was walking along a footpath at the rear of the former 49 Club in Trecenydd when he was attacked by two men.
The victim, a man in his 30s, required hospital treatment for his injuries which including a fractured jaw.
The first suspect is described as being a white man, in his mid-20s, of slim build and around 6ft2 in height. He was wearing a light grey hoodie and light grey jogger bottoms.
The second suspect is described as being a white man in his mid-20s, around 5ft9 and of medium build. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie.
We’re appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault or who may have seen the two men described above in the area at the time of the assault.
