Man who died in Caerphilly collision named

The man who died following a road traffic collision on the A472 in Caerphilly, has been named as John Cull.
Officers received a report of a car having left the road on the A472 between Nelson and Ystrad Mynach at 1.50am on Wednesday, February 3.
The car - a black Vauxhall Corsa – was recovered and the driver was declared dead at the scene. The driver who died can now be named as John Cull, aged 39, from Pontypool.
His family continue to be supported by specialist officers and wish to be left alone to grieve at this difficult time.
We are continuing to investigate the single-vehicle collision which we believe took place at around 9.15pm the previous night, Tuesday February 2.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken with officers is urged to get in contact.
Any motorists with dash-cam footage of the area at the time of the collision is also asked to come forward.
