We’re looking to reunite a number of valuables, including jewellery and watches, with their owners after officers recovered 14 items during an arrest in Caerphilly.
Officers stopped a car on the A469 on Friday 9 April and later arrested a 20-year-old man from the Caerphilly on suspicion of going equipped for theft. He has been released on conditional bail.
A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of jewellery - including brooches, charms, necklaces and pendants – and two watches.
PC Naomi Young said: “We’ve found a large number of valuables after officers arrested a man in Caerphilly.
“During a search of the car, we found items including jewellery and we’re going through the process of identifying which of these have been reported as stolen.
“Our investigation is ongoing, and our aim is to be able to return them to their rightful owners. We would urge anyone who recognises any of the valuables to get in contact.”
If you recognise any of the items, you can contact us by calling 101 quoting reference 2100121924 or send us a direct message on Facebook or Twitter.
