Appeal for witnesses following serious road traffic collision - Newport

We're appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward following a serious road traffic collision that occurred in Newport this afternoon, Thursday 11th March.
A cyclist collided with a HGV on Queensway, A4810 in Llanwern at approximately 12.15pm.
A cyclist, a 53 year old woman, sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital of Wales for treatment.
The road is currently closed in both directions while emergency services are in attendance.
