Man charged following investigation into series of burglaries

Officers arrested a 42-year-old Cardiff man on suspicion of burglary following weeks of intel-led investigations into a series of burglaries that took place in Blaenau Gwent recently.
The man was arrested yesterday and taken into custody before being charged with seven counts of burglary.
He has been remanded to court and is due to appear before Newport Magistrates Court this morning.
As part of the investigation, officers recovered property stolen from addresses in Tredegar and Ebbw Vale, and are in the process of returning the items to their owners.
