This is just a small snapshot of what’s on offer, so why not come along and see it for yourselves?
We’ve had lots of questions about the event, so please find answers to these below:
Location, date and time
Old police headquarters, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran, NP44 2XJ.
Sunday 3 July, 9am to 5pm.
Disabled parking
Disabled parking is available onsite, you can access it opposite The Discount Pram Centre and will need to show a blue badge. You will need to exit from the roundabout outside headquarters on the A4042.
Parking
We are encouraging all visitors to make use of the free park and ride service. This is operating from stand A1, outside Lloyds Bank in the main bus station, Cwmbran town centre. There are plenty of multi-storey carparks around the town centre.
Parking restrictions
A Temporary Regulation Order (TRO) will be in place for a number of roads around the venue and will be clearly marked with cones. Parking in these areas is illegal and patrols will be carried out with enforcement action taken. We would encourage all visitors to make use of the free park and ride service.
Admission
This is a free event and no tickets are required.
Charity
Our chosen charity this year is 2Wish. Donation buckets will be available around the venue and on the park and ride. Stop by and chat to them at their stall where they can tell you about the fantastic work they do supporting families affected by the death of young people
Road closure
Turnpike Road will be closed from the turning to Llanyravon Way (you'll still be able to access Llanyravon way from the A4042 roundabout), down to the Plantation Drive turning.
Refreshments
Food vendors providing hot and cold food are available all day, including an ice cream truck. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to 2Wish.
Dogs
As a large part of the event is taking part on school grounds and working dogs are at the event, dogs are not permitted.
Alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted at this family event.
We want everyone to enjoy the day, including those living around the venue. We ask that visitors are mindful of nearby residents and park lawfully and considerately.
We strongly encourage everyone to make use of the free park and ride service.
