We received a report of a concern for safety after a cyclist was found in Chepstow Road, Llansoy at around 2.35pm on Wednesday 23 March.
Officers attended to assist with traffic management and a 53-year-old man was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff by Wales Air Ambulance.
His injuries are thought to be serious but not life threatening; he is currently receiving treatment in hospital for facial injuries.
We’re appealing with anyone with information to speak to us, especially around with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Wednesday 23 March.
