Last Friday was White Ribbon Day and marked the start of 16 Days of Action to end men’s violence against women and girls.
This year, White Ribbon Day falls on the same week as the launch of the FIFA men’s World Cup.
We’ve renewed our commitment to eliminating violence against women and girls by proudly supporting this year’s White Ribbon Day and the 16 Days of Action.
White Ribbon is a global campaign that encourages people, and especially men and boys, to take action and change the behaviour and culture that leads to abuse and violence.
Victims are at the heart of everything we do, and we work with closely with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault to help us to continually improve as a service.
This year, our Victim Reference Group are celebrating the men that have stood up for them and supported them.
For anyone who is affected by violence against women and girls, there are many support options available, and we would urge you to come forward in the knowledge that we will support them and treat you with care and respect.
If you’re a survivor of domestic abuse or sexual assault and would like to get involved with the Victim Reference Group. Please contact our Survivor Engagement Co-ordinator: [email protected]
