PC Gavin Davies and the neighbourhood policing team in Brynmawr are inviting residents to a crime prevention event this week.
The team is hosting a pop-up engagement event in Asda, Brynmawr, between 10am - 2pm on Wednesday 5 April, and will be there to talk to shoppers about the steps we can all take to keep our homes, cars, and possessions safe.
As part of the force's Safer Streets work, officers have been hosting events across Gwent and giving out free crime prevention packs.
Live in Brynmawr and interested in receiving some great security items?
The packs are funded by the Home Office's Safer Streets initiative, and contain items like property marking kits, number plate security kits, shed alarms, and more. All you’ll have to do to receive one on the day is provide proof of address.
As well as deliver free packs and explain how each item can be used, the team will also update visitors on how our ongoing Safer Streets work is tackling neighbourhood crime and anti-social behaviour.
