Four Gwent men jailed for drug offences

Four men have received a combined sentence of more than 29 years for drug related offences.
The below people appeared in Newport Crown Court on Friday 23 December:
- Kieran Weaver, 28, from Newport
- Rhys Lovett, 32, from Cwmbran
- Steven Rogers, 37, from Pontypool
- Eoin Holder, 34, from Pontypool.
Weaver plead guilty to the following offences:
- conspiring to supply class A controlled drugs (cocaine)
- possession with intent to supply class A drugs
- possession with intent to supply class B drugs
- aggravated vehicle theft and dangerous driving
- possession of criminal property.
He received a total of 10 years and four months imprisonment.
Lovett plead guilty to conspiring to supply class A controlled drugs (cocaine). He received nine years imprisonment.
Rogers plead guilty to conspiring to supply class A controlled drugs (cocaine). He received six years imprisonment.
Holder plead guilty to conspiring to supply class A controlled drugs (cocaine). He received four years imprisonment.
Detective Inspector Ian Bartholomew, the officer in the case, said:
"We're extremely pleased with the sentencing of these individuals involved in this case. We hope that this acts as a reminder that there is no place for drugs in our society.
"As a force, we will continue to target anyone involved in the supply of drugs, and we encourage anyone with information to report any concerns so that we can take action.
