We're appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Corporation Road, Newport at around 10.30pm on Tuesday 28 February.
Officers attended, along with personnel from the Welsh Ambulance Service, and the collision involved a car and an e-bike.
The cyclist, a 28-year-old man from Newport, was taken to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not thought to be life changing.
The driver, a 26-year-old-man from Newport, was arrested under suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation.
We’re asking for witnesses, or any motorists with dash-cam footage that were in the area between 10pm- 11pm, to contact us.
