Officers are investigating a report of criminal damage on Arthur Bliss Road, Newport, in the early hours of Friday 16 August.
Tyres of 18 cars parked on the road were allegedly damaged sometime between 2am and 3am.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
The man, from Newport, has been released on police bail as our enquiries continue.
