The team descended on the address at around 11am this morning (Friday 2 August), before specialist method of entry officers gained entry.
During the search, we arrested a 39-year-old man from Cefn Fforest on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
He’s been taken into custody to be questioned.
DS Hackney said:
“We’re continuing to work relentlessly to target organised criminals in Gwent, and act on any information we receive about potential drug supply in our communities.
“This morning, our team carried out a warrant under the misuse of drugs act, removed drugs from the streets and made an arrest.
“Illegal drugs and all offences associated with supply can have a devastating effect – not only on vulnerable people, but on our towns.”
