Officers investigating a group believed to be involved in the conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in Rhymney and Tredegar made five arrests during a planned operation.
Four men and one woman were arrested in connection with the investigation and remain in police custody at this time.
Following searches of the properties, officers found and seized a car, four off-road vehicles and an e-bike from two of the addresses.
Inspector Lysha Thompson, the senior investigating officer said: “Around 40 officers conducted warrants this morning as part of an investigation into the conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
“Five arrests have been made and as the investigation continues to progress, we’re asking anyone with any information to contact us.
“Illegal drugs have no place in our society, and we’re committed to targeting anyone involved in the supply of drugs, but we need your help - if something doesn’t feel right, report it via 101 or message our social media desk.”
