Three people appeared in court charged with drugs supply offences after officers stopped and searched a man on Victoria Avenue, Newport, at around midday on Sunday 3 November.
Officers later searched a residential address on Brynderwyn Road, Newport.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, and a 48-year-old woman, all from Newport, were subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B - cannabis.
All three appeared before Newport Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 5 November.
The man, aged 30, and the woman, 48, were both remanded into custody; the 25-year-old man was released on bail as our enquiries continue.
