A Torfaen man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after officers from our serious and organised crime unit searched his car on Malpas Road.
After stopping the car, a thorough search of the vehicle led to officers seizing around £2500 in cash, class A drugs and mobile phones.
This led to us carrying out a search of an address in Llantarnam, where they found over 100 wraps containing class A drugs.
We arrested the 39-year-old on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and he remains in police custody at this time.
