A pedestrian, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene following a collision in Blaina can now be named as Kim Haile, formally known as Kim Blake.
Her family have issued the following tribute to her:
"It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our beautiful mother Kim who sadly passed away on Saturday 18 January 2025.
"We as a family would like to ask if anyone has any information to contact Gwent Police.
"Kim leaves behind a massive hole in our huge family and will be sadly missed by her three sons and five grandchildren and her brothers and sisters.”
Officers investigating the collision want to speak to anyone, who was travelling along Church Street or were in area between 10.50am and 11.15am on Saturday 18 January.
