We're investigating a report of an assault in the Lansbury Park area of Caerphilly.
A man was allegedly assaulted by another man in Maxton Court between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Thursday 19 June.
Officers attended and a 30-year-old man, from Caerphilly, was arrested on suspicion of affray and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was released on conditional bail as our investigation continues.
