Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
The man who died following a road traffic collision on Cwmbran Drive, Cwmbran, at around 1.50pm on Sunday 16 March can now be named as Jordan Thomas from Cwmbran.
Officers attended a road traffic collision, involving a motorbike, on Cwmbran Drive, Cwmbran, at around 1.50pm on Sunday 16 March.
The rider of the motorbike, a 25-year-old from Cwmbran, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He can now be named as Jordan Thomas.
His family have issued the following tribute to him:
"On Sunday 16th March our lives changed forever as we lost our beautiful son, Jordan Thomas.
"He was and always will be loved by everyone who knew him. Jordan was a beloved brother, uncle, fiancé and dear friend who will be missed by all.
"We as a family have been truly overwhelmed by the support shown and the many kind words that have been shared by those who knew our precious boy, Jordan.
"During this very difficult time, we kindly request that we are given time to process and grieve what has happened to our gorgeous boy, Jordan Thomas."
His next of kin continue to receive support from specialist officers.
