We would like to speak to anyone who was in Lidl, or Lidl car park, Risca, on Tuesday 4 February.
We’re appealing for witnesses after receiving reports of theft and an assault in Lidl and Lidl car park at around 5pm on Tuesday 4 February.
Two men and a woman allegedly left the store with items they hadn't paid for, and when confronted they left in a vehicle, pushing staff members out of the way.
Officers attended and a woman was treated for minor injuries.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving and assault by beating, a 30-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of theft and assault. They have since been released on conditional bail.
