Blaenau Gwent

Despite being home to several lively, bustling towns, Blaenau Gwent is a largely rural area with green mountain tops overlooking surrounding valleys. The three main rivers in the area (the Sirhowy, the Ebbw and the Tillery) slip south through towns and villages and, to the untutored eye, often seem to merge into one. Make no mistake, however - each community proudly maintains its own character and traditions.
