REQUEST
I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
1. Please state the number of recorded crimes in your recording system that had a child sexual exploitation crime flag, recorded in each of the following financial years:
i) 2017/18
ii) 2018/19
iii) 2019/20
iv) 2020/21
2. For these offences, please provide a breakdown for each year by Home Office offence description.
This should be the specific description (e.g. the number of offences of sexual grooming, or sexual assault on a male aged 13 and over) rather than the general Home Office offence group or sub group (such as sexual offences or other sexual offences) as per the Home Office offence classification index.
3. For these offences, please provide a breakdown of offences recorded in each year by Home Office outcome description (such as charged/summonsed, community resolution, investigation complete – no suspect identified).
