I would be grateful if you could provide answers to the following questions. Please could you share the data for the years 2018/19, 2019/20, and 2020/21.
1) How many individuals that reported an incident of domestic abuse had ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’ attached to their immigration status? Please also give as a percentage of all reported incidents of domestic abuse.
2) How many individuals that reported an incident of domestic abuse had migrant status? Please also give as a percentage of all reported incidents of domestic abuse.
3) Please list the types of visas, or classification of immigration status (i.e. seeking asylum, work visa, etc.) that individuals that reported domestic abuse had, and the number individuals who had each type. Please also give the percentage of each type.
4) How many individuals that reported an incident of domestic abuse and who had migrant status were offered access to a refuge? Please also give as a percentage.
5) How many individuals that reported an incident of domestic abuse had migrant status and were offered access to domestic abuse support services? Please also give as a percentage.
6) How many individuals that reported an incident of domestic abuse had migrant status, attempted access to refuge, but were not able to access it at that point? How many of these had ‘NRPF’ attached to their immigration status? Please also give as percentages.
7) How many migrant victims of domestic abuse who have reported to the police could not access the Domestic Violence Destitution Concession (DDVC) because they were not on a spousal/partner visa?
8) How much police budget was spent on emergency accommodation for individuals that have migrant status who had reported domestic abuse?
9) How many times has an individual that has reported domestic abuse stayed overnight at a police station after reporting an incident? How many of these individuals had migrant status? Please also give as percentages.
