REQUEST
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I would be grateful if you could comply with the following request. Could you provide the following information:
Your a) average, b) longest and c) target response times for 999 calls categorised as each of the following:
- Grade/tier 1 ‘emergency’ calls (or equivalent)
- Grade/tier 2 ‘priority’ calls (or equivalent)
- All 999 calls
Please provide annual data for each of the last seven calendar years: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
RESPONSE
- We are only able to provide data from 2019 onwards.
- We are unable to provide max wait time data.
- Data is based on average dispatch to arrival times (HH:MM:SS)
- There is no target time for 999 calls in general, target times are dependent on the response grade assigned.
- Grade/tier 1 ‘emergency’ calls (or equivalent)
