2022/25263 - Speeding Prosecutions

REQUEST

        How many drivers have you prosecuted for speeding in each of these years; 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 so far.

        How many drivers have appealed against their prosecution for speeding?

        How many drivers have been successful in appealing against the speeding prosecution?

        How many of all appeals have been because the driver had evidence that the Notice of Intended Prosecution and/or prosecutor was using an incorrect speed limit in detailing the nature of the alleged offence?

        How many of these appeals because of the use of incorrect speed limits were successful?

        Can I please have a copy of your enforcement policy regarding speeding offences?
