- How many EVs were purchased by your force and what % of total vehicle purchases does this represent so far for 2022?
- What are EVs used for in the force e.g. neighbourhood police, dog patrol etc.
Please be as detailed as possible with numbers for each use case?
- How much money was spent on fuel (petrol and diesel) in 2021?
- How much money has been spent on fuel (petrol and diesel) so far this year (2022)?

Gwent Police have 6 electric vehicles currently on its fleet. This represents 1.4% of the total fleet.
- How many EVs were purchased by your force and what % of total vehicle purchases does this represent for 2021?
Gwent Police purchased 0 EVs in 2021. This represents 0% of the total vehicle purchases.
- How many EVs were purchased by your force and what % of total vehicle purchases does this represent so far for 2022?
Gwent Police purchased 13 EVs in 2022. This represents 46% of the total vehicle purchases for 2022 so far.
- What are EVs used for in the force e.g. neighbourhood police, dog patrol etc.

Gwent Police have implemented all EVs into non-response departments (those who do not drive on blue lights and sirens).
