2021/24692 - Road Traffic Act 1988

REQUEST

The following requests relate to the Road Traffic Act 1988 Section 5A (driving, attempting to drive or being in charge of a motor vehicle with a specified controlled drug in the blood or urine in excess of the specified limit for that drug) 

 I’d like these requests to relate to drivers who are found to have levels of cannabis (THC) above the specified limit. However, if this is not possible, I am happy to receive data without the drug being specified. 

For the following offence, please supply the following data for the periods: October 2020-October 2021/ October 2019-October 2020

All Custody disposal outcomes for Road Traffic Act 1988 Section 5A (driving, attempting to drive or being in charge of a motor vehicle with a specified controlled drug in the blood or urine in excess of the specified limit for that drug – namely THC (Cannabis).  This would provide all outcomes such as charge, released No Further Action etc etc  

Furthermore, in relation to the Road Traffic Act 1988, please could you provide the following data for the periods: October 2020-October 2021/ October 2019-October 2020
