I write to you to request information under the Freedom of Information Act. Please could you provide the following information:
For each of the following years (January 2020 – December 2020, January 2021 – December 2021, January 2022 – July 2022):
Q1) How many dash cam (which may also include helmet cam, bike cams etc) videos were submitted to your force showing alleged motoring offences?
Q2) What were the most common motoring offences in the dashcam footage?
Q3) After reviewing the footage in each case, please advise how your force dealt with the case. Ie: How many warnings were issued, how many people were prosecuted, how many were sent on a driving awareness course?, how many fixed penalty notices were issued?
Q4) In terms of prosecutions in relation to the above offences, of those that proceeded to Court, how many were successful and how many were unsuccessful?
