I would like to make an application under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following information: (please provide a breakdown from the last 4 years - 2018 - present, in calendar years not fiscal.)
1a) How many police officers (frontline staff) are currently employed by the force?
1b) Of those how many who are currently working in your force have undertaken and completed a full course of the Safe Lives DA matters training (as of January the 17th 2023)
2) How many officers (frontline staff) have had accredited training recommended by the College of Policing (to deal with domestic abuse/violence)?
3) How much funding did the force receive to rollout/provide the DA matters training?
4)What other official training programmes have been given to staff in the last 2 years to deal with domestic abuse incidents/reports within the force?
