REQUEST
My request relates to sexual assaults and rapes reported to have taken place in prisons.
Please could you provide the following information. Please note there are two parts to my request.
1.
How many sexual assaults have been reported to your force where the location of the sexual assaults was recorded as “prison”, since 1 January 2010 up until 31 December 2022
2.
How many rapes have been reported to your force where the location of the sexual assaults was recorded as “prison”, since 1 January 2010 up until 31 December 2022
