For each of the two 2-week periods of Monday 2nd December 2024 to Sunday 15th December 2024, and Monday 3rd March 2025 to Sunday 16th March 2025, can you please provide the following information:
1) How many individuals did Gwent Police detain in police custody?
2) For how many individuals did Gwent Police request that the CPS apply for a remand in prison custody from the courts (i.e. via the MG7 form)?
3) Out of those individuals who were recommended for a remand in custody, how many of these applications were then put forward by the CPS prosecutor in court?
4) Please provide a breakdown of the outcomes from court of all those recommended for remand in prison custody. For example, how many were remanded into prison custody, remanded on conditional or unconditional bail, or tried at the first hearing?
Please provide separate data for each of the two-week sample periods
