We received a report of a suspected cannabis cultivation inside a commercial address on Bowen Industrial Estate, Aberbargoed, Caerphilly county, on Tuesday 26 May.
Officers forced entry to the building and discovered around 300 cannabis plants and hydroponics inside two connected commercial units.
With support from PD Asko, we located a 42-year-old man inside the address and arrested him on suspicion of cultivating a cannabis plant – a class B controlled drug.
The man was charged with this offence and remanded into police custody to appear before Newport Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 28 May.
