Christmas Card Competition
Could your child's artwork become the Chief Constable's Christmas card this Christmas?
We're once again inviting young artists from across the Gwent Police force area to get creative and help us spread some festive cheer.
If your child loves drawing, colouring or painting, we'd love to see their design for our 2026 Christmas card. Whether it's a winter wonderland, a festive police dog, a Christmas patrol car or something completely unique, we want to see their imagination shine.
The winning design will be chosen as the Chief Constable's official Christmas card and shared as part of Gwent Police's festive celebrations to our partners.
The overall winner will receive:
- Their design featured as the Chief Constable's official Christmas card.
- Ten printed copies of their winning design to share with family and friends.
- Book vouchers.
- A special visit to their school from a Gwent Police Dog Handler, their police dog and a Gwent Police Roads Policing Officer.
We'll also select two runners-up, who will each receive:
- Ten printed copies of their Christmas card design.
- Book vouchers.
The competition is open to primary school aged children aged 11 and under who live within the Gwent Police force area.
Children must be 11 years old or younger on Thursday 26 November 2026.
Create a festive Christmas card design and submit it using our online entry form below.
You can use pens, pencils, crayons, paints or digital artwork. We'd especially love to see designs that include a policing theme, although this isn't essential.
Please make sure the design completed on A4 paper in a landscape orientation.
Please note:
- Entries can only be submitted through the online form.
- We cannot accept entries by post.
- We cannot accept entries handed to members of staff in person.
The competition closes at 10pm on Thursday 26 November 2026.
Late entries will not be considered.
The winner and runners-up will be contacted in early December.
Show us your festive masterpiece and you could see your artwork become the Chief Constable's Christmas card this year.
Good luck!
